In the spring of 2017, Suffragan Bishop David Johnson placed a call to Bishop Rader Johnson inquiring about material from the Apostolic Fathers. At that time, Bishop Rader Johnson invited then Elder David Johnson to join him at a Dominican Republic Council. A year later in the winter of 2018, the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World promoted Elder David Johnson to the office of District Elder in the Dominican Republic council under the leadership of Bishop Moses Butler. Being so faithful to the Dominican Republic Council, Bishop Butler promoted District Elder Johnson to Suffragan Bishop. After the elevation of Bishop Rader Johnson as the Diocesan Bishop of the 54th Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. he desired to keep David Johnson as his Suffragan Bishop, where he continues to serve the people of God through teaching.

Their collaborative efforts have resulted in a strong and thriving church presence in the Dominican Republic, characterized by a genuine sense of community, spiritual growth, and empowerment. Suffragan Bishop David Johnson and Diosesen Bishop Rader Johnson's dedication to their work in the Dominican Republic serves as an inspiring example of how faith, compassion, and service can bring about positive and transformative change in the lives of people, and they continue to be instrumental in spreading the love of God in this nation.
